SMS Terms and Conditions

Program: Lake Effect AI Customer Messaging · Effective October 19, 2026

1. Program name and description

The Lake Effect AI Customer Messaging program is operated by Lake Effect AI LLC, Buffalo, New York ("Lake Effect AI", "we", "us"). Through this program we send text messages to people who have contacted our business, for customer care and conversational purposes only:

• An automated acknowledgement when you call us and we are unable to answer.
• Replies to text messages you send to us.
• Follow-ups about an automation project or quote you have asked us about.

This is not a marketing or promotional program. We do not send recurring advertising campaigns, and we do not message anyone who has not contacted us first or signed up on our SMS Opt-In page.

2. How you join

You consent to receive messages in one of two ways:

• By calling us. If you call (716) 303-4652 and we cannot answer, our recorded greeting states that we will text you back, and you then receive one automated text message acknowledging the missed call.
• By submitting our form. On the SMS Opt-In page or the contact form on our home page, you enter your mobile number and check a consent box that is not checked by default.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing anything from Lake Effect AI.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies and is driven by your own activity. You will receive one automated message per unanswered call, and otherwise only replies to messages you send us. Most people receive fewer than five messages in a conversation.

4. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Lake Effect AI does not charge you for participating in this program, but your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply to every message you send and receive. Contact your carrier for details of your plan. Message delivery is subject to your carrier's network and is not guaranteed.

5. How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will be unsubscribed immediately and will receive one final message confirming that you have opted out. After that we will not text you again unless you opt in again.

6. How to get help

7. Supported carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier's network and on factors outside our control.

8. Privacy

Your mobile number and the content of your messages are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information is sold, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to participate in the program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
